Field Stone Lacy leads PlottDogs Contest

Summersville, WV – David Kennan’s Field Stone Lacy posted a cast win at the AKC event in Rocky Gap, Virginia on June 11 and in doing so, tied the record for number of points posted in the PlottDogs.Com Competition Coonhound of the Year annual contest.
The record of 50 points was posted in last year’s competition by Evan Workman’s Grand Nite Champion Bearswamp’s Brindle Spider female. Three months in which points may be posted remain in the 2009 competition year. If Kennan and Lacy keep up this pace they will certainly move the bar a lot higher for future competitors. Lacy’s win at Rocky Gap moved her total cast wins to ten, each being a 5-point effort totaling 50 points.
The 2009 PlottDogs.Com Championship will be held on October 9th and 10th at The Vine Conference Center in Dillsboro, Indiana, scene of the 2008 championship, won by Jim Cannon and Nite Champion Timber Creek Daisy, a Plott bitch owned by Gil Raney of Louisburg, Kansas.
