Raleigh, NC - Eight Plott dogs are posted in the 2009 AKC breed standings. The standings appear on the AKC coonhound website and signify the dogs that will qualify for the 2010 AKC National Championship to be held in Greensburg, Indiana in May of next year. The top 16 Plotts in the standing will be invited. Dogs earn positions in the standing by winning casts with plus points at AKC-licensed coonhound Nite Hunts during the calendar year of January 1st through December 31st.
