The official cookbook of the Carolina Youth Challenge Coon Hunt held each November in Hallsboro, NC was a hot seller at the recent Grand American Coon Hunt in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
The cookbook was published as a fund raising effort to promote the sport of coon hunting to the youth of North and South Carolina. The annual AKC event is structured as a "North vs. South" event consisting of Nite Hunts, Bench Shows, Treeing Contests, and Coon Squalling Contests. The clubs at Shallotte, Delco, and Clarendon, all in North Carolina come together to produce what is an absolutely phenomenal event for kids staged at a fox pen facility that is hard to describe. It's fantastic.
If you would like a great cookbook chock full of good old southern recipes and would like to help some really great kids in the process, order a cookbook today. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks goes to support the Carolina Youth Challenge event. It's a great cause!
